MultiPoint Engineering Announces Rebrand Following Acquisition of Shaffer Baucom Engineering & Consulting - Irving, TX and Denver, CO – September 1, 2026

MultiPoint Engineering, formerly MEP Consulting Engineers, Inc. (MEPCE), today announced the completion of its acquisition of Shaffer Baucom Engineering & Consulting (SBEC), a respected Denver-based engineering firm with more than 25 years of experience delivering innovative MEP solutions throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The acquisition was effective July 1, 2026, and effective September 1, 2026, MEP Consulting Engineers, Inc. officially transitioned to the name MultiPoint Engineering, Inc.

The acquisition expands MultiPoint Engineering’s geographic reach into the Colorado market while strengthening its ability to serve public and private sector clients throughout the region. By combining the expertise, resources, and talent of both organizations, the firm is expanding its capabilities and positioning itself to deliver enhanced engineering solutions across a broader range of markets and disciplines.
